The Weekend Cook ~ Cream Cheese Icing

Looking for the perfect compliment to Carrot or Red Velvet Cake...look no more!


6 oz          cream cheese, softened

½ cup      sweet butter, softened

2  Tbls.      whole milk   

2 tsps.       pure vanilla extract

2 cups       sifted* powdered sugar 


Beat the cream cheese with the butter. Alternately add the powdered sugar with the milk and vanilla.  
*sift sugar "before" measuring
